Hello, Is the Debian bug tracking system making use of bug report page-hit data ?
Though this would require web server data aggregation, periodic analysis of bug report page trends could provide valuable insight for bugs which are quickly starting to affect many people. For example the netbase ipv6 java related bug report page [1] has probable been receiving more attention recently. Unique visitor count / page hits could then be used to mark it is a candidate for high priority. A bit like doing epidemiology with Google medicine related query statistics.
