Hi, I'd like to know if is there anyone working on speeding up debian boot sequence, like described in http://wiki.debian.net/index.cgi?BootProcessSpeedup ?
I've read some docs[1] about replacing old sysvinit runlevels with more flexible need-provide mechanism, but I don't know yet what does debian think about that.
