Hi, If you're using KDE and wants to help polish the kde task, please download the current weekly snapshot of the installer[0] and after cd boots, when you see the debian logo type:
install tasksel/first=kde-desktop or: install tasksel/first=kde-desktop Joey told me that tasksel/first will be aliased to 'tasks' in d-i RC1 as i've suggested in -user some time ago. After booting into your new kde system, please check what's missing. Common questions that came to the mind: - Is there IM software installed ? (eg: kopete?) - Is there multimedia player and support for it into the konqueror browser ? - Graphical package manager works well ? - CD/DVD burn works well ? - Network Manager ? (It was just added, hopefully will be in the next week snapshot) I'm sure that if you're able to install the gnome desktop environment too and compare you will see some packages missing in the kde task yet.
