Hello, I have posted this bug to gnome, should I also add it to debian desktop bugs? Do you gus know how can i stop this from happening. Its been 2 weeks and it happens all the time. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=504160
Please describe the problem: [Laptop]I have a few apps running. VIM, music, browser etc. Suddenly my computer says that battery power is low and is shutting down. I plug in the power supply and start my pc. Upon start all my apps are restored. I close them, go do some other stuff. Next time I start my computer it brings all these apps again, and again and again. Each time it starts the same apps are restored and there is no way for me to prevent them from starting up. Steps to reproduce: 1. run program, apps, browsers etc. let battery run low to shut down the computer. 2. start computer again, all apps should be restored. Close them. 3. shutdown and start again, all apps should be restored. Close them 4. shutdown and start again, all apps should be restored. Close them 5. shutdown and start again, all apps should be restored. Close them etc. Actual results: Apps are restored even after I closed them before shutdown Expected results: Apps should not be restored after I close them. Does this happen every time? When computer shuts down due to low battery. Is there some kind of file that holds the information which program suppose to be restarted? Could you tell me how do I stop these apps (terminal, vim. music player, ssh connection) to stop starting every time I start my computer.
