-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The multiple discussion places for this topic is sure causing confusion (but I am partly responsible for that...). Let's stick to - -desktop.
After my initial post to -release and -desktop, I played around with Ciel and liked it. Noticing there was no VCS, I set one up on github <http://github.com/jmtd/ciel> and posted in the forums.debian.net thread linked from the wiki[1]. At some point after that, Valesso imported the Ciel theme to an SVN repo at debianart.org[2]. Independently, I refined the packaging work I'd done on github and put it in a more appropriate place, git.debian.org[3]. This packaging work really hinges on a question I have about how themes should be packaged, which I've asked on -release just a moment ago. I think the best way to move forward as is follows: * Amir continues to work on Ciel and submits changes to the debianart.org SVN, either by himself or via Valesso * The packaging work lives separately in collab-maint * The packaging is recast as a non-native package, pulling from Valesso's SVN repository [1] <http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=55566> [2] <http://lists.debian.org/debian-desktop/2010/10/msg00031.html> [3] <http://git.debian.org/?p=collab-maint/ciel.git;a=summary> - -- Jon Dowland -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAky8wccACgkQFotOcXAy8jit5ACdHec6Ess47i/eIMqdBRa6WMVs sgoAmgJofdgoxEB5AdiI7CvuQZDkWHD4 =sDf0 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
