Dear all, my first drafts of the idea of a flying Wheezy as basic artwork for the next Debian release has been uploaded to the wiki page http://wiki.debian.org/DebianArt/Themes/FlyingWheezy .
The idea is, that the artwork should in some kind make reference to the release number or name. I have chosen the name. The artwork of Pixar's Wheezy was not taken because there might be licensing constraints. Therefore pictures of real penguins were drawn. Another input was the wonderful first of April joke of BBC in 2008, where they reported the discovery of flying penguins. The Debian swirl represents the source that emits the new release in form of a flying penguin. This is just a first draft. Any feedback is more than welcome. Best Drahtseil (aka Dietmar)
