The discussion of the proposed constitution in debian-devel has settled down, and after a number of revisions the text is now stable.
I have therefore posted a final version of it to debian-devel; this will be voted on in about two weeks. If you notice serious deficiencies in it it will be worth delaying the process further to fix them - please let me know ASAP. If you disagree with it then you have a little over two weeks to propose and have seconded an amendment. If you spot minor troubles it's probably too late to fix them now. Put them on a wishlist somewhere and we'll fix them in the first overhaul (which will not be for quite a while, I hope). IMO we can still fix typos.
