This comment was a bit harsh. I was having a specific problem with notification
of card insertion/removal, which I found a workaround for in the PCMCIA-HOWTO.
I don't know if this is a bug or just something that doesn't work in the
controller. PCMCIA overall is well implemented in Linux.
