-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Earlier today I enabled SpamAssassin filtering for all mail sent to the BTS. Procmail and SpamAssassin have recently been installed into [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail, were we have monitored their progress and hit rate.
Last sunday, I enabled SpamAssassin filtering on a copy of all mail sent to the BTS. 30% of the mail sent to the BTS(at least the mail that enters the receive script) is spam, and of that, there were no false hits(at least with a quick glance at the files). With such high numbers(and such a good success rate), I have decided to not wait a week for more data, but to roll it out now. Also, Colin Watson has made a script to make it easy for us to edit .log files(the file that stores the mails sent to a bug). If some bug has spam already inside it, then please send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], asking for it to be fixed. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.75-6 iD8DBQE9rJQJiix9wovUpIkRAgoRAJ9Phkrvx5SXEo7/26lV9WFZl7sK6ACfVA1S 854h0rQityABZB4vsy26AZA= =AFAQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
