I've been asked to mention this somewhere more widely read than -devel. The old close/reopen sequence for changing the submitter address on a bugs.debian.org bug report is now deprecated, since it had unwanted effects on merged bugs. Please use the new 'submitter' command instead when you need to do this kind of thing.
The syntax is: submitter nnnnnn [EMAIL PROTECTED] ... or, to use the From:/Reply-To: address on the mail you're sending as the new submitter address: submitter nnnnnn ! The address previously recorded as the submitter will be notified of the change, so there's no danger of your bugs vanishing without you noticing. Regards, -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
