I was talking about how hard we were working and how much work there
was.
Let me propose something for comments that a friend of mine and I
debated last night concerning the article.
Something doesn't go right forthe customer's experience and they're mad.
Say a few prayers, and make sure your severance clause is firmly in
place.

I am proud of this hospital, and proud of the wonderful people who work
here who never quit providing the most friendly, warm and loving care
possible.
Not to be confused with, behind the back, double crossing and passive
aggressive.
On the one hand, trust and perception are created through these kinds of
awards. Oh, yes, and remember, there once was a wonderful car called
Tucker that was decades ahead of its time. What my mentor was referring
to was not working harder, but working smarter. When they tried to bully
him, he resisted.
Our last guest was Parveen Chand, who is a facilities and business
development planning executive for BJC Health System's Barnes Jewish St.
You never can tell when you'll find more teeth. "Be careful for what you
wish," but, either way, it's still sobering and can be malignant in its
content. My mentor looked over at me, kinda chuckled, and then said in
passing, "I bet you that you could double or triple your productivity
right now. And while it's true that there are fewer choices when it
comes to hospitals, perceptions and image really come into play even
more so.
With this laser-sharp focus, it's amazing how productive I can be if I
take the time to be thoughtful about my work. Putting in the hours isn't
as important as being thoughtful and focused while putting in the hours.
But Frank Hayes argues we still need those kind of people in business.
When they tried to buy him, he refused. It is a passion to make this
world, this life and this planet better than I found. job growth over
the last five years has been driven mainly by two sectors: construction
and healthcare. If this voice speaks against that which is clearly
logical and conventional wisdom, it can be an awesome challenge to any
employed leader. Do you, as the employed leader make every argument
against them? It has always strived to provide national and now
international quality care.
What was also painfully clear to me was that I am a nice guy, and, as
long as we're beating old adages, "Nice guys finish last," has some
deeply prophetic roots as well.
On the one hand, trust and perception are created through these kinds of
awards. We can make the car better, safer, stronger, more efficient, and
cheaper decades before its time, but watch out for the power brokers of
the old school. I think we are all starting to agree that patients
aren't rational because people in general aren't rationale. What my
mentor was referring to was not working harder, but working smarter.
When Western Pennsylvania coal went out of style due to high pollution
levels, the hospital and the town also fell out of favor. What is
interesting and not noted in the article is that healthcare facility and
construction growth probably comprises a good percentage of construction
related careers. Some days I feel like Tucker, Preston Tucker, the
maverick car designer and who challenged the auto industry with his
revolutionary car concept.
I am proud of this hospital, and proud of the wonderful people who work
here who never quit providing the most friendly, warm and loving care
possible. It has always strived to provide national and now
international quality care.
How do we get all of our patients to feel this way about our hospitals?
Try as hard as you can.
