There is a grave bug (#378346) filed against gnucash on alpha which seems to be quite arch specific. Mail to the debian-alpha team for assistance has not been answered (though I have been told that the team is very small). Is there someone with access to an alpha that will look at this bug, and perhaps provide a stack trace?
