I haven't been following this thread closely; so if this idea has been mentioned before, please excuse the duplicate. I actually tried to enable popcon on my servers, but IIRC it requires an MTA configured for external e-mail in order to work. The MTA (exim4) on all my machines is configured for local mail only. If the delivery mechanism were, say, a "batch" ftp transfer, I could probably enable popcon. -- .''`.
