Oh snap! radeon with KMS.
So this is interesting then.
So it didn't happen when I rebooted just then. That is I now have vt7 working.
Actually imho this is an xorg or gdm bug. Because I was using kvm, the
new xorg (from squeeze well a slightly older version) and the same
kernel --> 2.6.36 on debian lenny without this problem.
So I think it may not be a kernel bug. What makes you think it is a kernel bug?
