Hello,
I'm trying to install Oracle9i Database server R2 on this Debian
distibution:
Linux version 2.6.26-2-686 (Debian 2.6.26-26lenny1) (da...@debian.org)
(gcc version 4.1.3 20080704 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.2-25)) #1 SMP Thu
Nov 25 01:53:57 UTC 2010
Running the Oracle Installer, show this error:
oracle@alborhp-madrid:~/soft/CD1$ Initializing Java Virtual Machine from
/oracle/tmp/OraInstall2011-01-17_02-30-24PM/jre/bin/java. Please wait...
/oracle/tmp/OraInstall2011-01-17_02-30-24PM/jre/bin/i386/native_threads/java:
error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory
I've created a simbolic link from my libstdc++-* to the name requested
by the installer.
But now the installer don't say nothing and die after some time.
I'm new with Debian.
Would to help me?
Many thanks!
Best regards
Arturo
