I noticed a potential regression in Salsa CI use of ccache a week ago, filed as https://salsa.debian.org/salsa-ci-team/pipeline/-/issues/492, and I believe I found the root cause and posted fix for review at https://salsa.debian.org/salsa-ci-team/pipeline/-/merge_requests/665. An extra pair of eyes reviewing or testing the fix could be helpful.
