Hi, please rename the package to "python-doi2bib3". "python3-doi2bib3" is the binary packaged installed by python-doi2bib3.
Also you should consider separating the debian packaging and the non debianized upstream source. You can host the debian packaging on Debian Salsa. While this isn't compulsory, it makes it a lot easier for your potential sponsors to make any changes directly to the debian packaging.
