I am not going to do that with a live package into the live archive from a live repository without understanding what happens and without ever having seen a real-life workflow that isn't some everything-so-fine-and-new-and-shiny-that-this-never-happens-in-reality corner case
I am especially concerned about this action flipping some switches either in my repository or in the archive that might prevent me from switching back to the classical workflow in the case I don't like the result.
I might try this with an extra upload to experimental right before switching to a new upstream version. That sounds like a reasonably safe point in package life to try.
