Hi all,

Does Debian have a dedicated mailing list or other gathering place for
people interested in supporting modern Debian on older
32-bit PC hardware? I looked for something similar to what we have for
other vintage platforms in the form of the debian-68k and debian-alpha
mailing lists but didn't find anything.

I would love to connect with others in the community who feel that
support for turn-of-the-millennium hardware that is still supported by
the Linux kernel upstream but for which we do not package kernels is
the most significant missing feature of Debian as "The universal
operating system". I'm fairly certain I'm not the only hobbyist here
with a bunch of machines that are powerful enough to run a modern Xfce
desktop and new enough for Debian's current 32-bit compiler flags but
mildly inconvenient to set up absent a packaged kernel and installer.

I'm fully capable of doing my own thing on my own hardware, but since
multiple people are likely interested in this area, I'd love to keep up
on what others are doing to avoid reinventing the wheel.

Regards,
Timothy Gaskell
