Andreas, A few things still open that I'd like direct answers to, not more general reassurance:
1. Which repo is actually under review? Your ITP (#1142659) names three repos: nordstjernen-browser, northstar-browser, southstar-browser. Your "it's clearly GPL" reply linked to a fourth one — nordstjernen-sol-browser — that doesn't appear anywhere in the original ITP. Which codebase is actually being proposed for Debian, and does the COPYING file you cited even apply to it? 2. You still haven't addressed Gard's point. He said your own ITP indicates you and your collaborators haven't reviewed most of the code you're claiming copyright over. Your reply about verifying "every incremental change, like an artist" directly contradicts that, but you never said why Gard is wrong, or whether his reading of the ITP is mistaken. Which is it? 3. Do you commit to the actual security-support obligation Marc described, yes or no? Not "I expect frequent releases" — the specific thing: patching security issues in whatever version freezes into Debian testing, without touching anything else in the package, for a minimum of three years. That's a yes-or-no question and it hasn't been answered yet. I'd rather get three clear answers than more general statements about the project's mission — those are the things actually blocking this from moving forward.
