Greetings! The hp2pbm utility is implicitly called by mgetty-fax's faxspool when given a HP PCL file. Currently, this results in an error on Debian. I can't seem to find a license stipulation in the sources; I'm beginning to think its public domain, and am attempting to contact the author to clarify. I'm thinking it would give a simple way for people using mgetty-fax to use a 'magicfilter' filter as a frontend to faxspool to send a variety of formats via fax.
