That's a good example. Blah! In general, my feeling as an architecter is that language is a property of a particular document instance which is on the same level with a format. A single document ID may have multiple formats and multiple languages, and multiple formats in multiple languages, or whatever. I still think this is the way to go, even if there is content divergance in a small bit of the text for some documents, like your example here.
