Hi, I've just uploaded version 1.1.24 of the DebianDoc-SGML package. This fixes the broken i18n support for HTML as well as broken behavior when no SGML declaration was indicated in the command line, rendering the package more or less useless. Both bugs were introduced in version 1.1.22, so please upgrade as soon as possible.
Version 1.1.23 introduced the <include> tag. This can be used to include files. The complete syntax is <include source="..." language="text"> with `source' indicating the file to be included (from the current directory!). The `language' indicates the `computer' language of the included source. Currently, the value of this attribute defaults to `text' (so you don't need to specify the language at the moment). In the future this will be expanded to other languages with the idea to provide syntax highlighting. Version 1.1.24 introduces the <comment> tag. This can be used to put comments in the SGML source, e.g. for i18n and l10n purposes, similar to footnotes. These comments are not put in the generated output, unless the -m flag is specified on the command line. This puts the comments in footnote style in the output, but only for HTML, plain text, and overstriked text. Note these new tags are not yet documented in debiandoc-sgml-doc. This will be done in the next couple of weeks.
