Hi Christian, thank you for the hint to Joey's German installation manual. Must admit don't mind if German or English as long as it is distributed with Debian and easily accessible for newbies.
With regards to the comparison Debian to SuSe I can just add that from my point of view it is technically almost (95%) there in most aspects, but the documentation is lacking behind. Now, I cannot complain as I haven't contributed yet. So will try to find a way on how to do so. Regards, Rodger
