Depends if you already have a functioning internet connection or not. I have installed Debian exactly as you say, by taking the box into work, booting from the standard floppy set and then selecting a Debian FTP archive. But don't do it if you have less than ADSL speeds. You can get the same effect at home by setting up a TFTP server at home on a LAN and using the FTP install method. Jeremy
