Hi, I just went through a brieg email correspondence about the euro sign with one of the KDE people and then with the local Euro-infodesk in Finland.
It turned out that there is no character for the euro cent. Thus, you have to write 0,20� instead of 20� (<-WRONG!!)! The Debian euro howto discusses mapping the cent character to the keyboard and actually, the current 'unstable' seemingly has it also mapped to altgr-shift-e. To prevent confusion and errorneous usage of the cent sign with euro, perhaps mentions of the cent sign should be removed (or changed to point out that there isn't one)? - Jarno
