Hi. This is my first attempt at contributing to Debian docs, so please bear with me for not knowing the procedure.
I recently created an open source Linux boot diskette Windows utility called Bootset, to address some inconveniences in NTRawrite. While working on that I noticed that section 4.3.2 in the Debian docs is really out of date, and doesn't point to the comprehensive list of rawrite-like programs maintained at the FreeDOS site (of which I have no affiliation). I've updated the 4.3.2 section to be more modern. If there are no objections the HTML below should replace 4.3.2 in this document: http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/ch-install-methods.en.html

4.3.2 Writing Disk Images From Windows, DOS, or OS/2

If you have access to an i386 machine, you can use Rawrite and related programs to copy disk images to floppies.

Newer programs such as NTRawrite work in Windows NT/2k/XP, but many older programs will only work from DOS or with Windows 9x booted into DOS. Most of the programs create one disk at a time from the command line, which can be inconvenient, although some offer a GUI. Bootset creates a boot diskette set from a list of diskette image files in a text file.

Hope this helps!
