Heres the workaround I was told on IRC. 1. Use pbuilder to create a sarge tarball. 2. Unpack it and edit /etc/apt/sources.list to point to sid instead of sarge. 3. Repack it. 4. do a pbuilder upgrade and the tarball will be upgraded to sid. 5. use it in the normal fashion. -- Jaldhar H.
