http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/apt-howto/ch1.en.html it is stated "This manual is based on the next Debian release, Sarge." A newcomer to Debian could be forgiven for thinking that Sarge is the release which will come after Etch. This line would be better at the moment: "This manual is based on the Debian 'Sarge' release." but it would be best to upgrade the entire document to make it useful for all Debian releases, and in particular the latest stable release.
