Yep, I had also a working solution and got a conflict once you committed your patch: Just adding $(PO4AOPTIONS) PO4AOPTIONS=-o "inline=<acronym>" -o "inline=<indexterm><primary>" to po4a calls. Your solution of replacing the XML parser is also possible and could workaround some other bugs. I know this solution from #494607. There is nevertheless also a problem with "<indexterm><primary>" which isn't currently considered as inline tag. It doesn't work as specified above and needs still to be investigated ... PS: Martin, sorry for committing Hauke's translation as you probably worked on it the same time.
