Package: release-notes
Severity: normal

Bug #705655 will not be fixed in time for r0.

The release notes should say that:

"If you have an Intel Wireless 6005 or 6205 card then the installer
will prompt for the firmware file iwlwifi-6000g2a-6.ucode. This file
is not included in the firmware-iwlwifi package and is not actually
needed. You must answer 'no' to continue with installation."

Ben.

I think so, especially since that looks fixable for r1. Just committed:

http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/webwml/webwml/english/devel/debian-installer/errata.wml?r1=1.187&r2=1.188

Thanks, and closing this bug report accordingly.

Mraw,
KiBi.
