Package: release-notes Severity: normal Tags: l10n Dear Maintainer,
The problem ----------- Access the German translation of the stretch 9.9 release notes, at https://www.debian.org/News/2019/20190427.de.html. The last sentence of the main section is mistranslated/misleading: It reads "Wer etwas Anderes wie beispielsweise "apt" oder "aptitude" einsetzt, sollte den "upgrade"-Befehl absetzen." The word "absetzen" evokes connotations of medicine, i.e. in the meaning "stop using this command". What is meant is to use the |upgrade| command. Suggested solution ------------------ Change "absetzen" to any of "verwenden", "benutzen" or "einsetzen", which have the correct meaning. I am not sure if this is the right place to report the bug; if not, I would appreciate a pointer to a better venue.
