hi Michael - you tagged this bug against release-notes as having patch
but i dont see on (did i miss it?), assuming not:

the NEWS things look well written and complete to me - im not a samba
user, but i feel i would understand enough from those.

So I think for the release-notes it could work just say something
short and refer to the NEWS entries? This assumes you can upgrade and
reboot without breaking your system of course. So basically something
like this:

__samba_packaging_reorganised:

Samba packages have been reorganised
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There have been some changes to the packaging of the **samba**
SMB/CIFS server, with some optional functionality moved to separate
packages. For example, if you need Active Directory Domain Controller
(AD-DC) functionality you need to install *samba-ad-dc* after
upgrading to trixie. For details of the other changes see the
`samba NEWS.Debian
<https://sources.debian.org/src/samba/trixie/debian/samba.NEWS/>`__.
Would that be enough?
