Package: dpkg
Version: 1.8.3.1
Severity: wishlist
I think a "Installed-Date: " tag would be nice, if added to dpkg -s syntax.

Almost certainly when the feature was introduced, it's been wishlist for
ages but I only implemented it a few months ago.

Yup, that's the intent. An "Installed-Date" field is actually a tricky
thing to decide one, should it contain when the package was unpacked or
configured? for example.
I think the log covers your uses, so I'm going to close this bug.

Have you ever, ever felt like this?
Had strange things happen? Are you going round the twist?
