Hi,

I'm not sure if this still happens but I found it anoying enough to report it
despite the old version:

(Reading database ... 69314 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace autofs 4.1.3+4.1.4beta2-10a0.cross.1 (using
.../autofs_4.1.3+4.1.4beta2-10a0.cross.1_amd64.deb) ...
Stopping automounter.
Couldn't stop 2554(/usr/sbin/automount /amnt file /etc/auto.amnt -D NFSS).
Couldn't stop 2520(/usr/sbin/automount /apps yp auto.apps -D NFSSRV=jay).
Couldn't stop 2540(/usr/sbin/automount /data yp auto.data -D NFSSRV=jay).
Unpacking replacement autofs ...
dpkg-deb: failed to read archive
`/data/deb/release-amd64/pool/main/a/autofs/autofs_4.1.3+4.1.4beta2-10a0.cross.1_amd64.deb':
 No such file or directory
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg received a segmentation fault.

The debian mirror is automounted so it disapears in the middle of the dpkg
operation when autofs shuts down the automounter. No surprise there.

But SEGMENTATION FAULT?

This was fixed in that version but missed this unmerged bug report.
The relevant changelog entry is:
