Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.15.8.4
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/dpkg-shlibdeps
Hi,
when we run dpkg-shlibdeps on ia32-libs* we get an error like this:
dpkg-shlibdeps: error: couldn't find library libcanberra.so.0 needed by
debian/ia32-libs-gtk/usr/lib32/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so (ELF
format: 'elf32-i386'; RPATH: '').
So the respective library needs to be added and fetched and everything
build again, a somewhat lengthy process.
Then dpkg-shlibdeps fails again, this time with:
dpkg-shlibdeps: error: couldn't find library libvorbisfile.so.3 needed by
debian/ia32-libs-gtk/usr/lib32/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so (ELF
format: 'elf32-i386'; RPATH: '').
It would be extremly helpfull if dpkg-shlibdeps would continue after
the first error and print all errors it can detect before failing.
