Package: dselect
Version: 1.10.10
Severity: minor

In the help menus, I see:
------------------
Mark packages for later processing:
+, Insert install or upgrade =, H hold in present state
-, Delete remove :, G unhold: upgrade or leave uninstalled
 _ remove & purge config
                                             Miscellaneous:
Quit, exit, overwrite (note capitals!): ?, F1 request help (also Help)
Return Confirm, quit (check dependencies) i, I toggle/cycle info displays
Q Confirm, quit (override dep.s) o, O cycle through sort options
X, Esc eXit, abandoning any changes made v, V change status display opts
R Revert to state before this list ^l redraw display
U set all to sUggested state / search (Return to cancel)
D set all to Directly requested state \ repeat last search
-------------------------------------------
What is bothering me is that the whole "Miscellaneous:" section is
raised by one line. Please make this all look like:
-------------------------------------------
Mark packages for later processing:
+, Insert install or upgrade =, H hold in present state
-, Delete remove :, G unhold: upgrade or leave uninstalled
 _ remove & purge config

Quit, exit, overwrite (note capitals!): Miscellaneous:
Return Confirm, quit (check dependencies) ?, F1 request help (also Help)
   Q Confirm, quit (override dep.s) i, I toggle/cycle info displays
X, Esc eXit, abandoning any changes made o, O cycle through sort options
R Revert to state before this list v, V change status display opts
U set all to sUggested state ^l redraw display
D set all to Directly requested state / search (Return to cancel)
                                                \ repeat last search
--------------------------------------------
No big deal, but for me at least, it now looks a lot clearer.
(Indeed, you might want to draw boxes around them with |, -, =, too.)

I've had a patch for this for some time [0], the problem though, with
mine and yours is that with the titles aligned, the screen gets bigger
than 24 rows, which is more than a standard terminal height.

The only solution to this wishlist is to pack the sections w/o leaving
blank lines inbetween, which I find more confusing than the current
situation, so given this, I'll just close this bug report.
