If you reopen a bug, the least you can do is to give some justification of why you're doing this... The behaviour change has been made on purpose. If your packages fails to build due to this, then your package is broken and needs to be fixed to properly cleanup (or ignore) auto-generated files (or whatever else modifies upstream files). Without further information, this bug should be closed.
