This doesn't cover all the problems of differing files between
architectures. You might want to look into some of the KDE tools
to deal with C++ libraries. Modestas Vainius has developed some useful
helper tools (in pkg-kde-tools).

Maybe. It's easier to tell if we can judge a patch.

Up to now I refused to integrate partial solutions but this feature could
be useful and might not require cloberring the code with hacks all over
the place.
