Package: dpkg-repack
Version: 1.41
Severity: wishlist
Hi.
It would be super nice if it were possible (say, via an extra command line
option) to append a suffix to the debian revision of the repackaged
packages.
Some use cases for this would be that:
* such packagges would be more easily distinshable (say, via aptitude or via
dpkg -l, among others).
* easier to pin with apt preferences.
Note that all of the above would be optional and not conflict with the
currently existing functionality.
Thanks in advance,
Rogério Brito.
