Master does allow only secure method (which makes sense of course) but is hard to handle after a firewall. That's why I have to use a host outside which I have very bad connection to so I have problems to track down the problem in more detail. By the way the "non-free" part in the quote above is not more correct. (I will not file this as separate bug severity wishlist, because it should be no problem to delete this 6 words in the manual together with the correction above.)
