Package: exim4
Version: 4.30-8
Severity: normal

I pressed D and the installation proceeded to overwrite an existing
file, BUT not the file referred to.
The config file 02_exim4-config_options is referred to in the install
script, whereas 03_exim4-config_tlsoptions was installed.

What would you like to do about it ? Your options are:
     Y or I : install the package maintainer's version
     N or O : keep your currently-installed version
D : show the differences between the versions

               situation
The default action is to keep your current version.

I don't see how this can ever happen. At least with the current code.
And there was no further feedback after Andreas inquiry, nor logs, or
any additional information provided, so I'm marking this with the above
tags, and preventively closing it. If there's more information available
of what happened (unlikely at this point in time), please either reopen
or file a new report.

Thanks,
Guillem
