Greetings; Total, or nearly so, noobie at debian, fairly old hand at redhat stuffs since 1997.
I'm on the initial bootup of BDI, version 4.08, the emc program. Based on debian 3.1 (sarge I think you are calling it) I had it install synaptic as I'd like to try to maintain a synaptic clean install except for what I write as a device driver. Unforch, when synaptic is told to refresh its package lists, from ftp.debian.org, sarge, or from the other site who name I don't recall ATM, its returning a bunch of can't find errors.
