Package: dpkg-dev Version: 1.4.1 dpkg-dev describes the debian-changelog.el file in /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50dpkg-dev.el as /usr/lib/emacs/site-lisp/debian-changelog-mode.el.
If fact, it is located (in dpkg) in /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/debian-changelog-mode.el i.e., `lib' instead of `share'. I got both dpkg and dpkg-dev from unstable today (dpkg --list doesn't tell me the istalled debian minor version---sorry---i got the packages with apt-get and thus i don't know where the .deb's are right now). ---david
