Package: dpkg Version: 1.4.0.31 Severity: critical The above dpkg on slink doesn't follow symlinks on the ftp site and doesn't complete successfully, so I can't use dselect to install things via ftp.
The error dselect/apt gives if 550 <filename goes here> not a plain file. I'm using linux 2.0.36
