debian-solaris-sparc (modelled after debian-hurd-i386) Sounds like a cool idea to me! I don't see any reason we should restrict the debian project to free kernels. I mean, we prefer free kernels, but since some people have to use non-free kernels, it seems cool to me to support them by giving them a simple way to install all the debian packges. This should probably be brought up on -devel (maybe it already has - I've just got back from holiday, and I'm about 2000 messages backlogged on -devel). Where it will almost certainly cause a flame-war :-) Jules /----------------+-------------------------------+---------------------\ | Jelibean aka | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 6 Evelyn Rd | | Jules aka | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Richmond, Surrey | | Julian Bean | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | TW9 2TF *UK* | +----------------+-------------------------------+---------------------+ | War doesn't demonstrate who's right... just who's left. | | When privacy is outlawed... only the outlaws have privacy. | \----------------------------------------------------------------------/
