Package: dpkg-dev Version: 1.4.0.31 Currently dpkg-shlibdeps adds all libraries that a program uses to the dependency list. It would be nice if this could be restricted to the libraries the program is actually linked with and not list the libraries that are imported by other libraries.
An example: right now every program that is linked with libpam0g gets dependencies on cracklib2 and libpwdb0g.
