Hello. dpkg is no longer working anymore :-(
# dpkg --configure util-linux Setting up util-linux (2.9g-1) ... install-info: failed to lock dir for editing! File exists try deleting /usr/info/dir.lock ? dpkg: error processing util-linux (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 17 Errors were encountered while processing: util-linux So after I rm /usr/info/dir.lock , dpkg just hangs when it is setting up packages. It stops completely. AND 'install-info' starts eating up all available memory... going into swap and everything. So either way dpkg doesn't work :-( Could you please help?
