Package: apt Version: 0.1.9 Package: dpkg Version: 1.4.0.34
I tried to install slink. I choose apt as installation method. After updating the Package files, I went on to [I]nstall, but I couldn't install, because my /var partition isn't that big. I had no choice to tell apt to download the files to another location. I had to create a simlink. The error message was: E: Sorry, you don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/ Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to configure the packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors above this message are important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again Press enter to continue. There should be a resource file which includes the download-directory. This has to be set from dselect. I use Debian 2.1, kernel 2.0.36 and libc-2.0.7 Jens -- -=>Just GNU it<=- Jens Scharnow, Dortmund [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.nef.wh.uni-dortmund.de/~jensen
