Package: dpkg Version: 1.4.1.1 Severity: wishlist It'd be really cool to have a /etc/alternatives/README that explains what alternatives are and that people should really use update-alternatives. Just a few sentances, probably pointing to a man page or something so that people learn about this useful part of their Debian system.
